Screen Printing FAQ

What is your minimum order?
Typically 25 pieces, I can do less but it will cost more per unit.

Do you supply the garments or do I?
I can supply nearly every blank out there. Let me know what you prefer and I can probably source it and I replace all misprinted pieces. If you want to supply your own garments, I don't take responsibility for any misprints.

Do you print on sleeves/pockets/tote bags?
Yes I can print on sleeves, pockets, and tote bags no problem.

Do you print posters?

Yes I print flat stock. Come by the shop to see what papers I can offer.

Do you do CMYK process printing?
Yes I can print CMYK on white garments or paper.

What is the turnaround time?
Depending on time of year and job complexity, jobs can take anywhere from a couple of days turnaround, to several weeks. I will notify you of how long a job will take upon booking.

Do you ship?
Yes I can ship without issue! Just be aware that shipping costs scale with weight, so more garments, more shipping.

How many colors can you print on garments?
I can print up to 4 colors on garments.

Do you match pantone colors?
Yes I can match pantones.

Do you do color separations?
Yes I can do color separations billed hourly at $60/hour. It is generally best practice when making your design to keep each color layer separate.

Can you mock up the garments?
I will provide a mockup on any designs I create. If you are providing the artwork, mockups will be billed hourly.

What format should my artwork be?
300 DPI vectors or pngs are ideal, but I can vectorize nearly everything with high precision if you don't have a vector.

Do you provide design services?
Yes I do, this is on an as-quoted basis. Please contact me for a quote. I offer discounted design rates for clients who also need printing.

Can I pick up locally?
Yes, you can pick up from my studio at 712 Cormorant street in Victoria.

What is the largest you can print?
The largest I can print in general is 13"x19". I can print oversized at 17"x22" at an extra cost.
